The Home Builders Association of Greater Chattanooga was chartered in 1945. It was originally called the Home Builders Association of Chattanooga. It was later changed to the Home Builders Association of Southern Tennessee. In 2011, the offical name was changed to the Home Builders Association of Greater Chattanooga.
